Toronto Met ENTREPRENEUR INSTITUTE

Open Education Resources

Welcome to “Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset”. This interactive learning system will help you build your entrepreneurial mindset, attitudes and skills, including curiosity, proactivity, networking, creativity, resiliency, adaptability, self-leadership and positive beliefs like self-esteem, self-efficacy, internal locus of control, empathy and optimism. You’ll also learn about entrepreneurial methods like effectuation, design thinking, lean startup and strategy.

As you design and experience your exciting entrepreneurial journey of discovery, this learning system will guide you through the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and help you understand and apply key concepts to complete the weekly graded assignments (“Assurances of Learning (AoL) Documents”) used at TMU in ENT 101.

Please navigate to the “Open Education Resources” Menu above to view the unlocked weekly content we are sharing with individuals, universities and high schools around the world.

This free Open Educational Resource (OER) is made available due to the generous support of a Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries and Ted Rogers School Of Management OER Partnership Grant.

If you would like to incorporate or use any of these lessons or modules in your course, we can provide you with the Articulate Storyline RISE 360 and/or SCORM-compliant learning management system content object files. We can also provide you with the locked navigation, and weekly and final quizzes and grading rubrics that we use in the university course at TMU – ENT 101: Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset – the largest entrepreneurship course in the world.
